In the interest of helping both management and exhibitors attain a greater level of efficiency in the daily operations of showing horses, ShowNet has built an information system that has no boundaries, nor restrictions.

We believe the human effort and time devoted to the single task of planning out the daily show day can be greatly simplified. As the show day evolves and changes, more times we find our plan becomes redundant and inefficient due to lack of timely information.

As a result we waste both human resource and more importantly time. The wireless information system, “SHOW NET” will help solve these inefficiencies.

Show Net begins by helping mangers, through ingate personnel present the daily “Orders of Go” in a timely and more professional manner. The system employs the software tool “Order of Go”. This starting point application solves many of the issues surrounding the distribution of daily orders. Through this software tool the class sheets are distributed to the ingate operator via the internet.

The ingate operator downloads the class sheets to his desktop computer.

From here, he simply orders each class through a streamline software application. Upon completion the orders may be printed in digital form for easier reading. More importantly, the completed orders are sent back to internet to be posted immediately on any web site so chosen.

This service for the horse show involved is a free and delivered system. From here, a daily show record data base is born and is immediately distributed through the wireless system.

Participants have immediate access to the tools provided by Show Net.

As the day progresses, through simple input of data via the show, exhibitors and show officials alike, have access to real time class status and results.

Furthermore, any adjustments made to an order of go are expedited displayed via the ingate operator through a personal handheld computer.
